I am lucky to have worked with Guy for almost 4 years - with him being my manager and mentor for over 2 years of that time. As a manager Guy is a warm person and inspiring in the way that he incorporates his personal values into his work, without losing sight of commercial targets. In our working relationship, I was provided with the trust and tools to develop and grow. Once Guy knew I was interested in general (travel) management, he included me in decision making and big picture strategy. I am very grateful for the experienced I gained from working with Guy, and the fun times and friendship that come with that!

I have had the privilege of working with Guy for little more than 6 months. In that time I have known Guy to be a well-grounded and down to earth team member and colleague. He is a pragmatic worker and realist who seems to grasp ideas holistically whilst still taking note to the more acute details. I found this to be incredibly valuable in working with him, as it allows him (and for those who work with him) the ability to explore and understand nearly all possible perspectives to an idea and its numerous applications. He is an hard worker and value creator in the truest sense. Guy has built a strong (and deserved) reputation as someone with diligence and honour – someone who gets things done! I have no hesitation in recommending Guy and know that he will always give of his best in any endeavour.

I worked with Guy for over 8 months where he was part of the core team in the implementation of an ERP project. Guy was a very instrumental member of the team as he brings financial knowledge and business development knowledge, he was able to understand the business processes at ADC in a very short time and help to document them. He has a very analytical mind coupled with extreme attention to details skills, which enabled him to drive the analysis of the “AS IS” processes versus the “TO BE” processes. His financial expertise helped us shape the budget and adhere to it. He takes a lot of pride in his work and you can be sure he will never take a task he does not intend to see it from point A to point B. When Guy says he will handle it, you will never have to follow up on him, he will deliver on time and in full. Most of the times he did step up in the project and assist to play the role of project management. I look forward to working in a team with him again.

For over 1,5 years I had the pleasure to work with Guy within the MT of Charlie's Travels. When I started I was already impressed by Guy's natural leadership skills but during this period he kept growing. Guy is a leader who is very down-to-earth and in the center of the company without being the center of attention itself (we have the owner Charlie for that). He leads without being 'bossy' and he trusts his team members to do the right thing. At the same time he has a firm grip on the financial wellbeing of the company and steers based on facts & numbers. When Corona hit the company we suddenly need to work on worst-case scenario's and we went into a crisis mode. The whole situation was very tough and especially in that period we found out that Guy is actually also an excellent crisis-manager. Though decisions had to be made but because he also has a very human and mindfull side, everybody accepted what needed to be done. He steered the company through and things are looking better already. I have no doubts that the company will become an even bigger success. Altogether I can definitely recommend Guy and I know for sure he will be of great value in any organisation. I wish Guy good luck in his future career!
